An interesting thing to point out here:
According to myth, crows were originally pure white. They were scorched when they brought the Sun God Apollo the news that his love was cheating on him. He had his sister the Moon Goddess Artemis kill his love, but changed his mind and saved the unborn child from the funeral pyre. That child grew up and eventually became so skilled in the medicinal arts that he could bring people back from the dead; his name was Asclepius, who later became the constellation Ophiuchus.
